Who We Are

We are Committed to Service, Care, and Excellence.

Jayabharat Hospital, operated by Simhapuri Vydya Seva Samiti, is a 150-bedded multi-speciality hospital committed to providing high-quality and affordable healthcare to every individual. Located in Nellore, we serve thousands of patients every month through our OP services, IP care, emergency treatment, diagnostics, and surgical services.
Since our inception, we have followed one guiding principle:

“Quality Healthcare Should Be Accessible to All.”

Our General OP consultation fee is ₹50 and it is valid for 1 whole month, ensuring that no person is denied medical care due to financial reasons.

Our Vision

To create a healthier and more equitable society where every person, regardless of background, has access to compassionate, transparent, and advanced healthcare inspired by our guiding motto: ‘Sarve api sukhinah santu, sarve santu niramayaah’ (May all be happy, may all be healthy).”

Our Mission

To serve with compassion by providing high-quality, affordable healthcare to the underserved — including tribal communities, fishermen, rural and urban families.

From 10 Beds to a 150-Bedded Multispecialty Hospital

Started as a 10-bed Unit in 1982, it is Now a Trusted
Healthcare Institution in Nellore.

In the early 1980s, Nellore was still transitioning from a large village into a developing town, with very limited medical facilities. While wealthy families travelled to Madras (now Chennai) for treatment, poor and middle-class families had little access to proper healthcare.
Recognizing this urgent need, dedicated Swayamsevaks of Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), who were actively working in villages, resolved to create a place where everyone rich or poor could receive quality medical care.

This vision led to the formation of Simhapuri Vydya Seva Samiti, and in 1982, on Vijayadashami day, Jayabharat Hospital began its humble journey with just 10 beds.

The Auspicious Beginning

History and Leadership

The foundation stone for the hospital building was laid by Sri Sri Sri Vidya Prakasananda Giri Swamy, Founder of Suka Brahma Ashramam, Srikalahasti, and the inauguration was graced by Shri Nanaji Deshmukh.

Dr. Ramineni Ranga Rao Garu, a respected physician, dedicated himself full-time to serving the hospital, setting aside his personal practice and laying its strong medical foundation.

Sri Ponnaluru Sitharam Reddi Garu, a swayamsevak since childhood, played a transformative role in the hospital’s development. Through his leadership and the support of philanthropists such as Sri Dodla Varada Reddy garu (Rukminamma Trust), the hospital expanded its infrastructure and services.
Today, he continues to serve as the President of Simhapuri Vydya Seva Samiti, guiding the organisation with dedication and vision.
