300 students and their parents participated in the Balmela held at the Inumadugu Sri Satyanand Swami Ashram on Sunday, 08.02.2026.
Everyone knows that Jai Bharat Hospital is organizing a free tuition center for up to 50 tribal communities through the Singhpuri Vidyaseva Samiti (RI) Trust. To encourage these students in every way and to instill in their parents the need for children’s cultural centers, we are organizing an annual event called Balmela.
This year too, we organized the same Balmela in the form of Mandals.
300 students and their parents participated in the Balmela held at the Inumadugu Sri Satyanand Swami Ashram on Sunday, 08.02.2026.
The students performed yogasanas, Suryanamaskar, Upavishta Vyama Yoga, Yogachapa, and dumb songs, Amrita Shlokas, Shlokas, Satak poems, patriotic songs, and yogasanas, Suryanamaskar, Upavishta Vyama Yoga.
Organizers from Sri Satyananda Swami Ashram, Sri Purushottam Swamiji, Sri Ramakrishnananda Swamiji, Kothur GVK Chinmaya Vidyalaya Swamiji, and Sri Chaitanya Swamiji delivered speeches to the students of Sri Satyananda Swami Ashram.
Shri Jonnalagadda Murali, head of Nellore Sri Rukmini Silks, renowned businessman Shri Yadla Sandeep, Treasurer of Sinhapuri Vidyaseva Samiti Shri Gurram Sudhakar, Vijnana Bharati Regional Executive Member Shri Pudi Prasad, and tribal leader Shri Potluri Srinivasulu attended as chief guests.
Key speaker, Vice President of Sinhapuri Medical Services Samiti, Shri Balu Subba Rao Garu, said that these children’s cultural centers are being organized to boost tribal students’ confidence, generate interest in education, and thus reduce the dropout rate. He said that if their confidence is boosted, they will not only compete with the rest of society for employment opportunities but can also become presidents.
Mandala Supervisor Tirivedi Venkata Lakshmi organized the Children’s Fair, supported by central leaders and other Mandala supervisors. Jay Bharat Hospital GM Sri Guru Prasad Garu was with us every step of the way and led us.
Many donors contributed to the success of this event. Thank you to them, the chief guests, and our well-wishers who came upon invitation and blessed our students’ performances.
